Developer Firesprite has announced that The Persistence Enhanced will be released on Xbox Series X|S on June 4.
This is an updated version of the original game released for Xbox One on May 2020, bringing improved lighting and particle effects, UX and UI refinements and two modes to choose from: a Performance mode running in a dynamic 4K resolution at 60 FPS; and a Quality mode running in a dynamic 1080p at 30 FPS with Ray Tracing enabled.
The Enhanced Edition will be available as a standalone paid digital download and as a free upgrade for existing owners of The Persistence on Xbox One thanks to its Smart Delivery support.
Fight to save a doomed deep space colony starship infested with murderous clone printed mutations of the former crew. Gather resources, upgrade your abilities and unlock an arsenal of weaponry on each run as you repeatedly head deeper and deeper into the ‘The Persistence’ to repair the systems and prevent the ship from being torn apart by a black hole.
