Halo: The Master Chief Collection has had more than 10 million players on PC since 2019

Earlier today, Head of Xbox Matt Booty wrote a piece on Xbox Wire discussing the future of PC Gaming within Xbox. He disclosed a lot of interesting information, but among them was the detail that Halo: The Master Chief Collection had been played by more than 10 million players on PC since it launched in 2019.

This player base seemingly persists across Steam, Windows 10 PC, and Game Pass for PC. 10 million players for a collection of older games in roughly a year and a half is no small feat. Halo is still one of the world’s biggest games even with a previous decade that hasn’t been as smooth as Halo fans would have liked.

These numbers obviously bode well for the Halo brand and affirm that the upcoming Halo Infinite should be an absolutely massive game across all platforms.
