Similar to many other games from Xbox Game Studios, State of Decay 2 is getting some sort of insider program. Undead Labs is launching an open beta on Steam for the currently released game State of Decay 2. Yes, this is not for the already announced State of Decay 3, but the game that released three years ago.
Difference between the insider program and this open beta is that players are allowed to share what’s happening inside the beta. Hence, the ‘open’ part. Undead Labs wants to have a greater group of people playtesting new features and aspects of the game. This way Undead Labs receives more feedback. where they can specifically target beta players with surveys and questions.
The open beta will not have an NDA, a non-disclosure agreement.
