Xbox announced earlier today that they will be hosting a Soul Calibur VI Tournament on April 17th with a $2000 prize pool.

Late last year, Microsoft announced they had acquired Smash.GG, an esports platform that helps organizers and players participate in esports tournaments. It will be interesting to see how the Microsoft and Smash.GG partnership forms over the next few years.
