After two wild years helping start @TheInitiative @Xbox and rebooting #PerfectDark, it's time for me to say a tearful and bittersweet goodbye to my team at The Initiative.— Drew Murray (@PlaidKnuckles) February 1, 2021
Drew you have been awesome to get to know and work with these last few years. You’ll be missed and we can’t wait to show you what you started when we get to launch day. Thank you for joining us on this special adventure to start @theinitiative and bring back #perfectdark— Darrell Gallagher (@DGallagher_LA) February 1, 2021
Murray is best known for being a lead designer on games like Sunset Overdrive and Resistance. Murray was one of the key hires The Initiative made when they were building the studio.
There is still a lot of talent at the Studio, and Murray’s decision to leave the company for a better work-life balance makes sense. Best of luck to him and congratulations on helping bring back the Perfect Dark series.
