Xbox Reverse Policy – No Price Changes for Xbox Live and Free-to-Play going Free

After a major wave of anger of Xbox’s decision to double the price of a year of xbox live earlier in the day the company has not only reversed course but promised to make free-to-play games no longer require xbox live gold.

To bring Xbox Live more in line with how we see the player at the center of their experience we will be removing Gold requirements for free-to-play games.
