Every year Steam hosts the Steam Awards. This year, Rare’s Sea of Thieves has been nominated for an award that has seen a rise in importance this year. The Better With Friends Award.
Competition will be fierce though, as the other nominations are Deep Rock Galactic, Borderlands 3, Risk of Rain 2 and… Fall Guys.
Other nominations for Xbox Game Studios are Ori and the Will of the Wisps for Outstanding Visual Style, Halo: The Master Chief Collection for best soundtrack and Microsoft Flight Simulator for the Sit Back And Relax Award. Valve will announce the nominees for Game of the Year this week, right before voting starts.
