In the latest update to Sea of Thieves, a minor one before the start of the new Seasons system, players will be able to earn more gold due to the festival of giving. Besides this, some new cosmetics are reaching the shores of Sea of Thieves.
It’s the season of giving
The taverns and outposts have been decorated for the season. Festive decorations can be seen throughout the game. And the taverns play some special songs for this occasion. During the holidays players can pick up a gift, a Gilded Voyage. This voyage is worth a lot!
Players will also be given a special note which tells them to collect a gift at the Pirate Emporium. It’s the season of giving afterall. And because of that, players who gift up to five treasure chests to other crews will earn 5000 gold per chest.
Frosty cosmetics
It’s winter in the Sea of Thieves. While we don’t see a lot of snow there are some frosty new appearances to check out. A new Frozen Horizon Ship collection, a Bonechiller costume and Glacial Curse pets can be found in the Pirate Emporium.
And maybe these frosty items could be a hint to what’s to come in Sea of Thieves next? Who knows.
