The Outer Worlds has sold over 3 million copies to date, GTA V at staggering 135 million

Today Take Two has shared their earnings report. And that’s mostly the moment we take a minute to be in awe of Grand Theft Auto V numbers. Take Two, the parent company of GTA V’s developer Rockstar Games, has now shared that the game has sold over 135 million copies. Meanwhile, the other Rockstar game, Red Dead Redemption 2, has sold over 34 million copies. It has been nicely summarized by MauroNL on Twitter:

Microsoft’s Obsidian Entertainment is also part of this earnings report, as their game The Outer Worlds was published by Private Division. Another label from Take Two Interactive. The RPG from 2019 has sold over 3 million copies to date so far.

The Outer Worlds is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Steam, Epic Game Store, Nintendo Switch and Xbox Game Pass for console and PC.
