Xbox Series Launch Day Titles

November 10th is the long awaited launch of the Xbox Series consoles. What started as rumors of Project Anaconda and Lockhart back in 2018 and ended with the TGA announcement of the Xbox Series X back in December 2019, along with the leaked Xbox Series S announcement video that Xbox PR handled like a champ, finally comes to an end.

On November 10th, these are the games that you can pickup day one with your shiny new boxes. We even let you know if they’re optimized for Series X|S, if Smart Delivery is supported (Buy it on Xbox One and get the next generation Series X|S version for free) and if you can get them as part of your Game Pass subscription day one. These titles will be optimized for Series X|S which means they take full advantage of the RDNA2 and Xbox Velocity Architectures. Game Pass titles are in green:

Some current gen games like Sea of Thieves, Ori and the Will of the Wisps, Forza Horizon 4 and Gears 5 are getting next gen patches to take full advantage of the Series X|S. Gears Tactics launched on PC earlier in the year and makes it’s console debut November 10th. Of course, there will also be thousands of Xbox backwards compatible games that should work day one with the box as well. Microsoft has yet to release an official list.
