The lovey-dovey on-rails shooter ‘Gal*Gun Returns’ is coming to Xbox One in 2021. This was announced today by Inti Creates, who will be publishing the game in Asia on Xbox One, PC, and the Nintendo Switch early next year while publisher PQube will handle the western release which will come shortly thereafter.
Gal*Gun Returns is a remastered version of the first game, which launched exclusively on the Xbox 360 all the way back in 2011. The first game never made its way outside of Japan and the sequel was not developed for the Xbox One. It’s a bit of a pleasant surprise, seeing Inti bringing the series back to Xbox. On-rail shooters have all but disappeared this generation, so if you are itching for a fun shoot ’em up game with multiple endings and lots of cute anime girls, have a gander at Gal*Gun.
Oh, and you should probably make sure your parents don’t walk in on you.
