Rare is all about bringing other Microsoft IP’s to their game Sea of Thieves. This time it’s the Battletoads who will appear in the pirate adventure game. Rare and Dlala Studios have cooperated on bringing back the toads after over 20 years of absence. You can read our review of the new Battletoads games here.
Players who play both Sea of Thieves and Battletoads are in for a pleasant surprise. Everyone who finishes the first act of Battletoads will receive a Battletoads shipset in-game. And it seems Rare themselves are in on the toad & frog jokes, as the set is called the ‘Fightin’ Frogs ship set’
