Game Pass Ultimate members can stream 30 xCloud games on Android starting tomorrow

While the actual release date of Project xCloud within Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is September 15th, subscribers can test out the service this week. They’ll get access to 30 games on Android.

Contrary to the preview program, people will have to use the Xbox Game Pass app. An update to this application on Android is giving users the option to not only install games remotely, but also to start playing games on the cloud.

The service is launching on September 15th. This will only be for Android users. Apple currently doesn’t allow game streaming services like xCloud on their platform (same applies to Stadia, PS Now and GeForce Now). Windows 10 users will have to wait, as we haven’t heard much about the service launching on Windows 10 PC’s and tablets yet. But with the next Surface devices coming soon, we should be hearing more in a few months time.
