Today Microsoft has revealed more details about the upcoming launch for Project xCloud. They’re calling it ‘Cloud gaming on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate’ and it’s set to launch on September 15th.
At launch only Android will be supported. It seems like Microsoft and Apple haven’t found an agreement on the subscription service yet.
Cloud gaming with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will be available on Android devices in 22 markets at launch, including Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, South Korea, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
Microsoft has partnered with makers of controllers such as Razer and 8BitDo to make sure as many people as possible can enjoy gaming on their phone. You can even play games with a DualShock 4 controller.
The upcoming titles launching on Game Pass, Wasteland 3 and Tell Me Why seem to be supported. More information can be read here, on Xbox Wire.
