It’s baby steps, but it seem Phantasy Star Online 2 is actually coming to Steam. A Store page for the game has appeared on Steam. The page isn’t available for everyone, but people in the US and UK have been able to reach the page.
It seems the game is still region locked for many people. Players of Phantasy Star Online 2 will be happy, as the Microsoft Store version of the game is giving people a lot of trouble. Modders have been working on excluding the necessity of the Microsoft Store, but this Steam version could solve those problems for good.
Last week, Microsoft and SEGA announced Phantasy Star Online 2, New Genesis. This is releasing on Xbox and PC in 2021.
