Xbox Game Studios announced State of Decay 3 with a new trailer and it shows some interesting details. The trailer starts with a lone survivor sharpening an arrow and scares away a wolf with a death curdling scream. Later we see the survivor surveying the landscape and eventually coming across a dear feeding on the wolf seen the night before. unexpectedly the creature feeding on the wolf is a deer that turns out to be an infected deer. Taking aim on the decrepit deer, the trailer then transitions to the State of Decay 3 logo. Considering how State of Decay was thought to be moving to a MMO, it’s interesting how the trailer shows the character in isolation, alone in the woods.
