Project xCloud will be included in Xbox Game Pass ultimate in September

Per a blog post by Phil Spencer, Microsoft has revealed Project xCloud, Microsoft’s streaming service, is coming to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate in supported countries. This means you’ll be able to play Halo Infinite wherever you go.

In a lengthy blogpost, Phil Spencer has restated their vision for next generation. Leaving no games, no players and no accessoires behind. Players will be able to use their old Xbox controllers, their Xbox One games and services on the Xbox Series X. Besides this, they are adding extra value to the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate membership. Besides Xbox Game Pass for console, Xbox Game Pass for PC, Xbox Game Pass perks and Xbox Live Gold players will be able to use Project xCloud at no additional charge.

Finally, today we’re announcing that this September, in supported countries, we’re bringing Xbox Game Pass and Project xCloud together at no additional cost for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members. With cloud gaming in Game Pass Ultimate, you will be able to play over 100 Xbox Game Pass titles on your phone or tablet. And because Xbox Live connects across devices, you can play along with the nearly 100 million Xbox Live players around the world. So when Halo Infinite launches, you and your friends can play together and immerse yourselves in the Halo universe as Master Chief—anywhere you go and across devices.” – Phil Spencer, head of gaming at Microsoft

It is unclear what the pricing for Project xCloud will be outside of Game Pass.
