Microsoft Solitaire celebrates its 30th anniversary with in-game events

There is one gaming studio at Microsoft everyone always forgets about. Microsoft Casual Games. They are the creators of classic games like Minesweeper, Mahjong and, most famous of ‘m all, Solitaire. This month Solitaire celebrates its 30th anniversary. The game launched all the way back in 1990. On May 22nd 1990. To celebrate this milestone, Microsoft is adding new in-game events to the game. You’ll be able to earn extra XP and decks themed around the 30th anniversary of the game.

And to make it all even more wholesome, the team has created a couple of videos with a compilation of the biggest Microsoft Solitaire fans around the world.

Oh and for those wondering. Yes, the game does have achievements.
