Microsoft announced yesterday that Xbox Game Pass has surpassed the 10 million mark for Game Pass members. It is the first time they had given a firm number in the amount of members on the service and a good sign that the service is healthy and growing.
Earlier today Phil Spencer reaffirmed those numbers and also gave us an idea of what’s next.
On Xbox Wire, Phil said that “Later this year our cloud game streaming technology, Project xCloud, will come to Game Pass—so you and your friends can stream and play the games you love together on your devices.”
xCloud and Game Pass seem like a perfect match. The ability to stream hundreds of games via a subscription is an incredible deal and gives Xbox an advantage in terms of content for the battle of streaming services.
