Microsoft ”on track” for holiday console launch according to CFO

In a response to Bloomberg journalist Dina Bass the chief financial officer of Microsoft, Amy Hood, has said that despite the situation with COVID-19 the holiday console launch is still ”on track”

Yesterday Microsoft had its earnings call, with overall positive news from the Xbox division. Engagement was up, with 90 million monthly active Xbox Live users and over 10 million Game Pass subscribers. Revenue was down 1 percent, mostly due to a revenue drop in hardware and slower performance of a third party title (presumably Fortnite).
