After a couple of betas, Phantasy Star Online 2 is launching on Xbox today. Officially it only launches in North America, but the game isn’t region locked.
But, the biggest news from Sega regarding PSO2 isn’t the launch of the game. The already announced PC version of the game is coming exclusively to the Microsoft Store. Which hasn’t happened to a game since Rise of the Tomb Raider, 5 years ago.
It’s not known if the game will end up on Steam later. Cross-play between the Xbox and PC version is confirmed.
The PC version of Phantasy Star Online 2 is coming at the end of May.
