Today the Phantasy Star Online 2 Twitter account revealed the open beta is starting on March 17th.
The beta client can be updated from March 16th. This means players can jump in right at the moment the beta opens up.
Phantasy Star Online 2 was announced at E3 2019. It was surprising to see an older game being announced on the biggest gaming stage in the world. Phil Spencer had previously met with the people from Sega and wanted to make it happen. Phantasy Star Online 2 is a action focused role-playing game where you are a graduate from the millitary department in a space-faring organization.
