A dolphin in a tank and a Mexican map with mini trains – Bleeding Edge shows off new character and map ahead of second beta

With the launch of Bleeding Edge getting really close, Ninja Theory have announced the latest addition to the character roster. Mekko. ”A trash-talking, crab-walking dolphin piloting a mech” What’s there not to love?

Mekko is a ranged tank, with a decent skillceiling. Mekko is a survivor of experiments done on amphibic creatures to make them biological sonic eapons. Mekko has limited mobility, but makes up for it with his strenght. He can pull allies out of the battlefield and can absorb damage with a bubble shield.

Besides a new character, Ninja Theory has also announced a new playable map. It’s Landslide and is set in Mexico. It looks to be the most lived in map so far, with an actual crowd and mini trains driving around the map.

The latest beta ahead of launch is coming next week on March the 13th.

Bleeding Edge is launching on March 24th on Xbox One, Windows 10, Steam and Xbox Game Pass.
