Six years after the reveal Space Engineers is finally coming to Xbox

Space Engineers is finally coming to Xbox One. The game was announced in 2014 for Xbox and has seen great success on Steam in the meantime. If you’d mix No Mans Sky and Minecraft you’d get something like Space Engineers. It’s a building game in space releasing on April 15th.

This game is about building your own base in space, with great sandbox and exploration mechanics. You’ll have to gather resources, fight off enemies and build your own spaceships to survive. And the best part? You can do this with your friends. Oddly enough the amount of friends you’ll be able to play with depends on the system you own. For Xbox One S users there is 2 player co-op, while Xbox One X users can play with up to 3 other people.

Space Engineers can be pre-ordered now in the Xbox store. The game will cost $19.99 for the standard edition.

The beta in March will be available for everyone who pre-orders the game.

27 year old gamer who grew up with Commander Keen and Jazz Jackrabbit. A PC Gamer. (Sorry, not sorry). Dutch, but actually Frisian. Loves Age of Empires, Sea of Thieves and wishes for a new Viva Piñata.
