The Fable card game, Fable Fortune, is shutting down their servers in March – two years after launch

It’s safe to say Fable didn’t have its best generation the past 7 years. No actual Fable singleplayer game was released on the Xbox One and Fable Legends was cancelled. To make things worse, the studio behind Fable, Lionhead Studios, was closed.

But, one Fable game was released in 2017: Fable Fortune. A card game in the vein of Hearthstone made by Flaming Fowl Studios. This studio was created by a couple of ex-Lionhead developers. Or as they’d like to say it: a studio risen from the ashes of Lionhead.

Next month, two years after the launch of Fable Fortune, the servers are closing down. So, if you want to try and play a cardgame set in the whimsical world of Albion, you’ve still got one month to try. The game is free to play.

The servers will be closing down on March 4th.

  1. Sucks I can’t play a game at all now that I spent good money on. Would be nice if I could still play some kind of single player after buying alot of card packs.
