In another accessibility move Rare adds narration to their EverWild launch trailer

With a new version of the EverWild reveal trailer Rare shows that they are taking accesibility in gaming seriously. The trailer for their upcoming new IP is now accompanied by the narration of Senior Narrative Designer Kate Jarrett, who explains what is on screen during every moment of the trailer.

Rare has confirmed that all future EverWild videos will include this type of narration. In their press release Louise O’Connor, executive producer of Everwild, explains that not only the videos will have accesibility in mind, but that the game will have it in mind too.

Everwild is a world that is for all players,” said Everwild Executive Producer Louise O’Connor. “We wanted to ensure that as many people as possible were given the opportunity to experience and enjoy the announce of Rare’s next new IP. I’m excited that this is just the start of our commitment to players to be as inclusive as possible and begin the journey of venturing into the Everwild, together.”
