
Another day and another leak. This time we get a sneak peak of the Xbox Series X development kit. As you can see from the images below, the photos show off both the front and back of the Microsoft’s next gen kit. The front looks very similar to the render first revealed in the original Video Game Awards announcement trailer. The real star of the leak is the back of the unit. Here we can see ports for optical audio out, USB type A, ethernet, power, a single HDMI, and what is likely developer debug port. These ports are surrounded by vents to allow more air to flow upwards through the case. What’s also interesting is it doesn’t look like the base has any legs. It’s important to keep in mind that this is a dev kit and does not fully represent what we will see in stores this fall.
