The past couple of years Microsoft has put a lot of effort in accessibility at Xbox. Now SpecialEffect, a charity that helps disabled children play video games, has named the head of Xbox Games Marketing Aaron Greenberg as their honorary Vice President. Among many of the projects Microsoft and Xbox have started for better accessibility in video games are the Xbox accessibility controller, the 100 percent accessibility score of Gears 5 and much more.

SpecialEffects founder and CEO had the following to say: “I’m absolutely delighted that Aaron has accepted SpecialEffect’s invitation to become a Vice President. As we seek to help more and more disabled people across the world, for us to have support from such a hugely respected advocate as Aaron is both a massive honour and privilege.”
Among other vice presidents of SpecialEffect are Double Fines Tim Schafer, Turn 10’s Alan Hartman and former Xbox and EA chief Peter Moore.
