Minecraft on the Switch has sold more than 1 million retail copies in Japan

With Minecraft being everywhere and being insanely popular we all knew it sold a decent amount. But it seems Minecraft for the Nintendo Switch is the first third party Switch game to sell over a million copies in retail in Japan.

And it is also the first Xbox Game Studios game in Japan to sell over a million copies. Minecraft for the Switch sold three times as much as Minecraft for the Wii U.
