Mike Ybarra is leaving Xbox

Microsoft corporate vice president of Xbox Mike Ybarra is leaving the company. Ybarra has been at the company for 20 years. During his time at Microsoft he has been the general manager of Xbox Live, the Partner Studio Manager for games like Gears of War 3, Ryse: Son of Rome and Sunset Overdrive. In his latest role as corporate vice president for Xbox Live, Xbox Game Pass and Mixer he’s been working on delivering the services the brand is now known for.

It’s still unknown what Ybarra’s next job will be.

EDIT: The head of gaming, Phil Spencer, has responded to Ybarra’s departure on Twitter. Thanking him for his work and wishing him good luck in his next journey.
