Playground Games’ hit arcade racing game Forza Horizon 4 has reached more than 12 million players worldwide. The game released in 2018, but keeps bringing in new players. At E3 the Forza Franchise Creative Director Dan Greenawalt announced 10 million people played the game. 2 months later 2 million more have been added to that number.
Forza Horizon 4 is developed by Playground Games, with assistance from Turn 10 Studios. It has been a key franchise for Microsoft’s gaming efforts ever since its inception in 2012.
During this months Forza Monthly show design director at Turn 10 Studios, Jon Knoles, revealed that besides having reached 12 million players since launch, the game is played by more than 4 million players on a monthly basis.
Forza Horizon 4 is available on Xbox One and Windows 10 and can be played with Xbox Game Pass.
