Microsoft recently announced that they are building 31 new Azure sites, bringing the total to more than 150.

With Project xCloud and the looming digital future, Microsoft being among the leaders, if not the leader, in cloud services bodes well for the Xbox ecosystem.
It was also announced earlier this year that Sony will be using Azure and partnering with Microsoft on the future of the Cloud.
With the Cloud becoming increasingly prominent in our personal technologies, it seems that Microsoft is continuing to invest in Azure.
We’ll have to wait and see if the investment worked when it’s put to the test by Project xCloud.
