State of Decay 2, which released in May 2018, is still getting updates. The latest update is a big one, and improves the game signicantly.
The update, named the Bounty Broker Update, introduces a new character, the aforementioned Bounty Broker. He will appear in a van in your zombie infested world and will provide you with new gear, as long as you complete a few bounties for him. Sounds like a fair trade to me.
You can read the patch notes here. The main updates to the game alongside the Bounty Broker are a decrease in load times, a reduced file size for the game, a new weapons pack, improved gameplay, and much more.
The update seems signicant, and to see the game improve this much more than a year after launch is exciting.
I called State of Decay 2 “The Best Zombie Appocalype Game Ever Made”. This update can only improve that claim.
