At Microsoft’s E3 presser in June of this year, a Blair Witch game was unveiled. The game comes from Bloober Team, makers of Observer and Layers of Fear.
We still don’t know everything about the game, other than that the Blair Witch is involved obviously. We have seen some small fragments of gameplay and have been given some details about the main character and what he’s doing in a forest terrorized by the Blair Witch, but that’s about it. This new trailer, which shows new gameplay, environments, and story details, gives us a better idea of what’s going on.
The trailer has us excited (terrified) and we’re ready to play in the dark (and eventually turn the lights on) when the game releases on August 30th on Xbox One and PC. Remember, the game launches day one on Xbox Game Pass. So you can at least give the game a try and hope you’re brave enough to finish.
Let’s hope the game lives up to the Blair Witch name.
